Turbine pumps

NB Transit uses ClydeUnion positive displacement turbine pumps, thus avoiding the creation of cavitation. With an average life cycle of 75 years, these pumps require almost no maintenance. Each NB Transit pump is equipped with an electric motor adapted to required voltage and offers a capacity of 6,000 liters per minute, making productivity and yields superior to current market standards.

Loading time for each truck will decrease by at least 75%, translating into a substantial financial gain for clients. A truck with an approximate 60,000-liter capacity can therefore leave the loading island after only 7 minutes, whereas other existing systems require 40-50 minutes.
